I Didn’t Realize What Was Stealing My Peace

Until I changed this one habit.

Most people don’t realize how much what they consume every day is shaping them.

What you feed your mind will either pull you closer to God… or slowly distract you from Him.

And if we’re being honest, a lot of what we take in daily — especially the news — does more distracting than building.

It’s loud, negative, and overwhelming… and over time, it can leave you feeling anxious, drained, and unfocused.

That’s why I’ve been trying to be more intentional about what I consume daily.

Because as believers, we’re not called to live reactive to everything happening around us — we’re called to stay grounded, steady, and anchored in truth.

And that takes discipline.

One small shift I’ve made recently is adding a newsletter called The Pour Over into my routine.

And it’s honestly been a game-changer.

Instead of scrolling through random headlines or feeling drained trying to keep up with everything, they break down the biggest stories in a way that’s simple, clear, and actually grounded.

But what I really appreciate is that they keep a Christian perspective in it.

Not in an over-the-top way… just enough to remind you what actually matters and help you stay centered in the middle of everything going on.

No fear-driven headlines. No unnecessary noise.

Just a clear way to stay informed while keeping your focus where it should be.

It only takes a few minutes to read and it’s completely FREE. It’s helped me stay aware of what’s going on without letting it take over my mindset or pull me out of alignment.

And honestly, that matters more than we think.

Because following Christ isn’t just about what we believe… it’s about how we live, how we think, and what we consistently allow into our minds.

So if you’re trying to grow in your faith, protect your peace, and be more intentional with your daily routine, this is something I’d genuinely recommend adding in.

It’s simple, but it helps you stay grounded in a world that constantly tries to pull your attention elsewhere.

Over 1.5 million Christians have already joined.

If you long to be more intentional with what you consume, I recommend starting HERE today.

With love,
