God Is Near to the Brokenhearted
Your brokenness doesn't push God away—it draws Him near.
Heartbreak has a way of making you feel alone. Whether you've lost someone, been betrayed, experienced disappointment, or simply feel overwhelmed by life, pain can convince you that God is distant. But the opposite is true. God doesn't run from your brokenness—He draws near to it. When your heart is hurting the most, His presence is often closer than you realize.
💔 1. God Sees Every Tear You Cry
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle.” — Psalm 56:8
Not one tear has fallen without God noticing. He sees every sleepless night, every silent prayer, and every moment you've wondered if things will ever get better. You may feel unseen by others, but you are never unseen by God. He cares deeply about what you're going through.
🕊️ 2. You Don't Have to Hide Your Pain
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
God isn't asking you to pretend you're okay. He invites you to bring your fears, your questions, your grief, and your disappointment to Him. He already knows what's in your heart, and He loves you just the same. The safest place for your broken heart is in the hands of the One who created it.
🌱 3. God Can Bring Healing Over Time
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
Healing doesn't always happen overnight, but God is faithful through the process. Every day you continue trusting Him, He is gently restoring what has been broken. Don't lose hope if you're not where you want to be yet. God is still healing, still restoring, and still making you whole.
🔥 4. Your Brokenness Is Not the End of Your Story
“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
This season will not last forever. The pain you're experiencing today is not the final chapter of your story. God has a way of bringing beauty from ashes, hope from despair, and joy after seasons of sorrow. Keep trusting Him. Morning is coming.
✨ 5. God's Presence Is Your Greatest Comfort
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” — Hebrews 13:5
Sometimes God doesn't immediately remove the pain—but He promises to walk through it with you. His presence is what gives us strength when we feel weak and peace when life feels overwhelming. You are not walking through this season alone. The God who loves you is right beside you.

🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for drawing near to me in my brokenness. When my heart is hurting, remind me that I am never alone and that You see every tear I cry. Bring healing to the places that still hurt and fill me with the peace that only You can give. Help me trust that this painful season is not the end of my story and that You are working all things for my good. In Jesus' name, amen.
With love,
Brandon
